Digital Managing Editor Tom Valentino has a passion for media.
He produces and edits multi-platform content for the Behavioral Healthcare Executive, Addiction Professional, and Psychiatry & Behavioral Health Learning Network brands. He also coordinates production of guest articles contributed by leading clinicians and executives in the field.
“Professionally, I am proud to have launched two podcasts under the BHE brand within the past three years,” he said. “The skills and experience needed for this were developed by the personal accomplishment I am most proud of: creating and hosting a Cleveland-based sports and pop culture podcast that has produced more than 200 episodes since 2015 and took first place in the Podcasts category of the 2019 All Ohio Excellence in Journalism Awards.”
His coworker Meagan Thistle said Valentino supports the team in many ways to ensure accuracy and quality.
“He has a wealth of institutional knowledge,” she said. “Tom works fully remote so a lot of the team has not met him (in person), but he is great with one-liners and a good teammate.”
Valentino lives in Northeast Ohio with his wife, Michelle, and daughter, Cassidy, who recently started third grade.
“I enjoy coaching Cassidy’s sports teams, especially softball, and I have been a diehard Cleveland sports fan since I can remember,” he said.
