MALVERN Pa., (September 7, 2022) — Experts from industry-leading organizations in the mental health field will lead the 35th annual Psych Congress with the Unified Vision for Transforming Mental Health and Substance Use Care.
Psych Congress is America’s top conference on practical psychopharmacology and a unique, integrated forum to connect members of the entire mental health team with the foremost experts in psychiatry to improve patient outcomes through education. Educational Agenda and Partnerships
In addition to the panel discussion, the Psych Congress agenda features more than 50 CME sessions over the course of four days, led by internationally renowned faculty presenters. Featured sessions include presentations from Ronald Braunstein and Caroline Whiddon, co-founders of Me2/; and Tom Insel, psychiatrist, neurologist, co-founder, and president of Mindstrong Health.
Attendees will have the freedom to choose their schedule and attend sessions that will have the greatest impact for their patients and practice, said Doug Edwards, Senior Vice President at HMP Global and Director of the Psychiatry & Behavioral Health Learning Network
“Our featured sessions are a series of noteworthy lectures designed to educate and inspire,” Edwards said. “In addition to the special panel presentation featuring top executives in the field of mental health, all of our educational sessions are led by some of the nation’s most prolific mental health clinicians and educators. No other conference offers the same breadth and level of comprehensive psychopharmacology education combined with state-of-the-art treatment approaches and emerging research findings.”
Each year, Psych Congress partners with a national or local charity that is shaping positive and meaningful change in the field of mental healthcare. This year, the event supports the New Orleans Chapter of the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI New Orleans), a local organization that offers hope, help, and healing to people with mental illness and those who share their lives. Their work helps individuals live with dignity and independence within the community.
Psych Congress is designed and accredited for all members of the mental health team, including psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, psychologists, primary care physicians, students, residents and fellows, and other mental health professionals.
