Awards based solely on employees’ anonymous feedback on workplace culture drivers, including execution of goals, connection with others, and alignment.

MALVERN, Pa. (May 18, 2023) — HMP Global, the leading healthcare events and education company, today announced it has earned four Top Workplaces Awards for 2023, recognized for company culture and employee satisfaction, at the national, state, and regional levels.

HMP Global earned two national 2023 Top Workplaces Cultural Excellence Awards for Leadership and Work-Life Balance; a statewide New Jersey 2023 Top Workplaces Award from NJ Advance Media and; and a regional Philadelphia/Delaware Valley 2023 Top Workplaces Award from The Philadelphia Inquirer. Headquartered in Pennsylvania, HMP Global also operates a New Jersey office and produces nearly 500 conferences and educational events virtually and in-person throughout the United States and around the globe.

Top Workplaces Awards are based solely on feedback from employees through an anonymous survey administered by employee engagement technology company Energage LLC. The survey measures 15 workplace culture drivers that are critical to organizational success, including alignment, execution of goals, and connection. Of the hundreds of companies that participated this year, only a limited number of companies earned Top Workplaces designation due to the award’s rigorous high standards.

Jeff Hennessy, HMP Global Chairman and CEO, said the awards are a strong indicator of the company’s concerted efforts to foster a positive work culture, and will help the company continue to attract top-tier talent as it grows.

“We are humbled to be awarded four Top Workplaces honors in one year, particularly because the recognition is based on feedback from our team,” Hennessy said. “We have a strong, 38-year history of building successful brands and a successful team, and we take great pride in our team’s view of us as a best-in-class employer. We remain committed to continued excellence in sustaining a positive workplace culture, and attracting top-tier talent to support our growth.

The company recruits locally and virtually, seeking out candidates from a broad talent pool. HMP Global’s workforce is largely remote, with employees located in 30 states, and encourages in-person, hybrid work as much as possible to maintain the company’s strong social fabric. It also hosts events for employees multiple times a year. Among its retention efforts, HMP Global offers both live and virtual management training programs to help employees grow and develop leadership skills. Its record of employee retention is strong, with a 7-year average length of service.

“We are proud to receive multiple Top Workplaces awards this year, recognizing our efforts to cultivate and sustain a culture that promotes professional growth and learning, as well as celebrate the achievements of our team,” said Anthony Mancini, Chief Human Resources Officer and EVP of Operations, HMP Global. “The significance of a positive work atmosphere for employee recruitment and retention cannot be overstated.”
