Health Management Publications (HMP) was founded with an initial portfolio of education and publications focused on wound care and cardiovascular devices.

1985

SAWC Launches

Our flagship wound care brand sets early stage for best-in-class event-focused education build out.

1989

Princeton Media Associates Acquisition

Princeton Media Associates is acquired by HMP, launching the combined entity on its growth trajectory.

2008

Consultant Added to Portfolio

Since 1961, our flagship multispecialty brand Consultant has remained the market leader in medical education and information for the clinician community.

2011

Expansive Growth

HMP Global continues to expand its reach across the healthcare spectrum, announcing the major acquisitions of Imedex, the Institute for the Advancement of Behavioral Health Care (IABHC), and EMS World Expo.

2017

Acquisition and Launch of HMP Europe

A strategic alliance to produce the world-renowned Leipzig Interventional Course (LINC) expands the company's footprint in Europe.

2019

Continued Digital Transformation

Amid the global pandemic, HMP Global builds VRTX Virtual platform and expands into new markets with launch of 25 virtual offerings.

2020

Rapid Growth Continues

HMP Global continues a period of rapid post-pandemic growth, acquiring wound care leader Kestrel Health and market access firm Proximity (now known as HMP Market Access Insights). The team expands to 300+ employees.

2021

Transformative Expansion

The landmark acquisition of Neuroscience Education Institute (NEI) and the launch of HMP Collective contribute to company's transformative growth as a leader in education, events, medical strategy, and market insights.

2023

A Leader in Drug Channels Insight

HMP Global deepens its commitment to delivering greater value for its sizeable customer base and enhances its position as a dominant provider of pharmaceutical market access and regulatory insight with the acquisition of Drug Channels Institute. The HMP Market Intelligence business unit is formed.
